This is a late post (Ooopsie!). As promised, here’s a tribute post to my artmates.
Introducing the Dream Team. Namely Francis Manuel, Liz Rivera, Earle Hatsumy (me), Nix Gonzales, and Shane De Guzman.
I don’t know what else to say…blah blah.
I guess we’ll be working together for some time doing artsy stuff (or whatever they call it). Yes, we all have to stick together until we get sick of each other. (laughs. Just kidding guys.) Credits to Francis for the logo.
To know more about these ‘weird’ individuals. Here are some of our TOP SECRET profiles. =p
Just so you know these people are really fun to be with. So fun that we do more play than work. We barely finish anything. haha!
DREAM TEAM: Food Styling
Our first task is food styling. I tried some amateur food styling before but this is challenging because we had to make ordinary street food look like a gourmet. Our set includes popular banana street foods namely Maruya, Turon, Banana Cue.
Food Styling: First day
The original plan was to shoot the whole thing in one day but due to some ice cream issues, we had to re-shoot the day after.
Our theme for the shoot is white and gold. We had the Maruya prepared for the first shoot.
Here are some behind the scenes photos from Francis Manuel and Nix Gonzales
Excuse for my hair. We’re in a hurry so no time to waste! (Not even a time to fix ourselves. lol.)
We took a break after finishing two sets. Hey Francis! Go easy on the scoop.
Food Styling: Second day
The second day was easier because we already know what to do. There was a delay because I had to cook the whole set myself. (I style but I don’t cook!). It was a success though. Good job for the first timer! Yay!
Nix helped me with the styling. Joined forces once again. We prepared our last two sets and rolled! [BTS Photos from Nix Gonzales]
My ugly hands. Lol. [Photo by Nix Gonzales]
Again, sorry for my not-so-fixed self. This was taken after the shoot. I was a bit tired and yes, I wasn’t wearing any ‘make’.
It’s eating time again. All our sets were completely edible so our tummies were stuffed with bananas for two consecutive days!
After eating, we made fun of ourselves to ease our stress. We call this video Teach me how to Food Style. Maybe next time we’ll try to publish it. Or maybe NOT.
SOME SAMPLE OUTPUTS
We associated the food names with our own names. (That’s how weird our team can be.lol)
