Our first Creatives’ Catch Up Night was held last July 28 at The Old Spaghetti House. We were able to see each other again after some time-sharing stories while munching pastas and pizzas.

Our Catch Up Nights are held every last Saturday of the month. It is our way of keeping in touch even though we are no longer students.

Catch Up Night doesn’t only gives us a chance to meet each other but also to take photographs, exchange ideas, give advises, talk about collaboration, fill up our creative brains with inspiration, do activities, share our goals and plans and learn from each other’s experiences.

The first activity we did was similar to a “Time Capsule” game. We had our own sheets of paper with our names and the date on it and we were asked to pass them and write our personal messages to whoever paper we are holding. After writing our messages, we kept everything in this “box” and agreed to open it after a year.

What I like most about our Catch Up Nights is that every month there is a particular theme for our night out. This month’s theme is “wearing your dream uniform”. And this is what I wore that night (pink & white top, punkish checkered skirt and a hat).

Of course, my night wouldn’t be complete without taking some photographs. I was only able to take few. Some are taken with my point and shoot cam while some are from my DSLR.

These items on the wall look like chocolate bon bons, don’t they?. Sweet!

Camwhoring with Crissy. The kawaii hotties. =)

Self portrait. I look like a Japanese high school student.

Dos Garcia’s killer stare. Very predictable.

Our professor also showed us some design and art books that can be found in his art studio and library.
