I’m super happy and proud to announce that today, my ever-sweet blog ‘Rag Doll Countess’ celebrates its fourth anniversary.
In this open letter, I wish to deliver some of my thoughts and goals for this blog. I also prepared a message to my readers and friends who are supportive in keeping this blog active.
2014 for RDC
This year has been a memorable one for my blog — Better posts, new projects, fresh design and so many other things to be thankful for.
I didn’t expect I’d get this far. I started this blog because I only wanted to make an online scrapbook of my experiences. Eventually, it turned out to be a long term commitment to my personal creativeness. Now here I am, thriving to have something to share no matter how self-centered it may seem. lol.
I’d have to tell you that I admire other bloggers because of how they get to squeeze in everything. As normal people, bloggers do not sit around all day and write. There are other things to allot their time into such as family, chores, friends and sleep. (Yes, lots of sleep). My busy life does not permit me to have all the blogging time in the world, but I always try to put something here because it’s a passion I can’t let go.
Good people brought me here
This blog won’t get this far if it weren’t for the people who always supported my blogging efforts. This includes my family, friends, advisers and readers.
I am also thankful for the inspirational people I personally admire. Their creativeness has greatly influenced me to pursue this passion.
Four years of blogging, what’s next for RDC?
My goals are simple, I want to see places and try many things. I want these memories to be documented in this online space and have it all here even after 30.
I can say that RDC is still growing and I’m still learning. I don’t aim to be one of the best bloggers because I would go nuts. Imagine the pressure and sleepless nights. lol. I simply want to carry on with what I love doing and hopefully inspire others.
