Juweira Hotel

We celebrated my birthday at Juweira Hotel in Salalah, Oman. I didn’t have any big plans for my 24th birthday apart from the Oreo and Kisses birthday theme I pulled off. I’m grateful Mum came up with the idea of celebrating here and making it extra special.

Arriving to this hotel is just wow. The resort is big and features a perfect oasis. The hotel has a lot of amenities and activities ranging from speed boat trips, hiking, fishing, horse riding and more.

They have this walk around chessboard which reminds me of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone movie. My little sister thought it would be cute to compare her size with the pawn.

The hotel features beautiful modern rooms and spacious suites. Our suite is good for four to five people and has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, veranda, dining room and living room.

Me and my little sis were excited to swim and it’s great that they have a nice pool. Guests often swim here around 5 o’clock in the afternoon until after sunset.

This was taken in the morning and there were no swimmers yet apart from us. lol. You can spot my little sister and grandma by the kiddie pool.

Beside the pool is a mini bar offering fresh local drinks, coffee and snacks. We enjoyed a couple of fresh juices after swimming.

We walked around the resort to see the private beach. As we stroll along, we saw many interesting sights around the resort. There were other guests taking pictures at the beach area and appreciating the beauty of the Indian Ocean.

The private beach has loungers and hammocks to relax on. It’s nice to stay here in the afternoon after sunset when it’s not too hot.

As Sammak

At dinner, we went to As Sammak Restaurant to try their signature sea food menu. It’s our celebratory dinner so we enjoyed lobsters and my favorite, salmon. I wish they had grilled squid though. LOL. Just kidding.

The next day, we started with a good breakfast and spent the rest of the time swimming at the beach area. Their buffet selection is good and the ambiance of the dining area is excellent.

I wouldn’t mind spending breakfast everyday with a view a like this. LOL.

I hope I could try their snorkeling and whale watching trips next time. The thing I love most about the hotel apart from the lovely suites is their pool. If you want a peek of how much we enjoyed it, you can watch the 16-second video I made below.

I had an awesome birthday celebration here with the family and we had a great time. I wonder where my next birthday would be. 😀
